Does Anyone Know How to Do This?

Alright, I feel like giving up. I have bee working away at trying to understand exactly how all of the new technology that regularly gets ported to my desktop by the IT guys at work actually operates, but it seems like every time I get the grasp of the new Powerpoint templates sitting there, I am stuck trying to figure out how to use the next round – ones that make even less sense somehow. I’m not saying I shouldn’t have to know how to use this stuff, but do I really need to become a full fledge Powerpoint designer? There are people out there who do this stuff for a living. Can’t we go find them?
Regardless of my complaints and how many Powerpoint tips I snipe from websites during my lunch break, I don’t think we’ll ever quite catch up. My only hope is that the current trend of technology not advancing at a pace of every two years (the gap between Powerpoint 2003 and 2007 was very pleasant) will be quite alright by me. If only it stays that way and the next round of tech is easier to use…or at least slightly more intuitive.
