We have been going to a fertility clinic in Kansas City that has helped us conceive a baby on our own.  We are so happy that the tests they put me through and the drug therapies they used have resulted in a successful pregnancy. We have this Kansas City fertility treatment center to thank for our ability to have a baby.

It didn’t take too long to get pregnant. Once they diagnosed hormone imbalances, they put me on clomiphene therapy, and after about eight months of that, we were successful. We are just thrilled, to say the least. They will be testing the fetus down the road for genetic disorders, but we believe everything will go smoothly through this pregnancy, and in July, we will deliver a healthy baby. We don’t want to know the gender of this baby; either a boy or a girl will work for us.

Had we not been able to conceive using the drug therapy, we would have looked into adopting. The in vitro was just too expensive for us, and we preferred to spend our money on making sure we can give our new baby a good home, a good life, and an education that will help him or her through life.
