A lot of people ask questions regarding anadrol as treatment for your mother’s osteoporosis.  While the drug is a steroid used to treat the disease, there are some other non-steroidal drugs you can use.  I am a doctor and I treated my late grandmother with anabolic steroids when she suffered from osteoporosis during the later years of her life.  I chose to go another route when some of the side effects of anadrol made her even more ill.  She was constantly nauseas, bloated and suffered from itchy, rash-ridden skin.  While each patient involved in steroid cycles will react differently, I decided to look for alterior treatment.  Epogen is a non-steroidal drug approved by the FDA and works the same way minus the side effects.  My advice to you would be to consult a doctor who specializes in osteoporosis so they can find the best course of action for your mother.  While I do run my own practice, I too consulted some experts in the treatment of my grandmother.  Once she was off the steroids, her quality of life improved greatly.  She felt more comfortable and was able to live out the last days of her life happily while controlling her illness.
